Lovely welcoming lodge, with great lake views, very close to Tahoe City and right next to Dollar Point.
You will fall in love with this light filled, lake view home. The great room is bright, spacious with a prow front and with wall to wall, floor to ceilings windows to take in the the lake and Sierra crest views. This is a spacious family sized home that sleeps nine, or up to ten. The center piece of this home is the large great room with cathedral ceilings, big sectional sofa, wood burning fireplace, floor to ceiling windows to take in the stunning lake and Sierra Crest views. The great room is an open plan with dining, kitchen that ideal for entertaining your group. The family style dining table seats up to ten, with three more at the breakfast bar. Just outside is a huge wrap around deck with panoramic lake views, two patio tables and chairs and two lounge chairs. What a spot to enjoy an outdoor dinner and watch the sun set over the lake! The kitchen is nicely updated granite counters, lots of countertop for prep and serving. The appliances are all newer except for the classic Thunderbird blue fridge ~ you will love it, we do!
Also on this main living level are three of the bedrooms, including the master bedroom with king bed and en suite bath, queen bedroom and the bunk room with twin bunk set and twin bed (sleeps 3). A rollaway bed tucked in the closet provides bed space to accommodate a tenth person.
Upstairs is a spacious loft with king bed and attached half bath with work area overlooking the great room.
The family will enjoy the kids toys and game and horseshoes in the side yard. There is also a flagstone patio to enjoy on the shady side of the house - perfect for warm afternoons.
This home is located directly next to Dollar Point but does not have access to the Dollar Point pool or tennis. Walk to Skylandia State Park beach and Lake Forest beaches. Less than two miles to Tahoe City!
