Hubbard House at Tahoe Timberland Description

Completely charming, classic Tahoe cabin built in 1949 and this is the first time it has ever been available as a vacation rental. Now, you too can enjoy a taste of classic Old Tahoe life your grandparents and great grand parents did, but with all the modern conveniences like Wi-Fi and flat screen TV's! 

This cabin is full of Old Tahoe charm with original pine paneling and log exterior. The comfortable great room is the ideal place to gather with a  wood burning fireplace, high beamed ceilings, a new flat screen TV and a piano to enjoy family sing-alongs. The great room is open to the dining room and nice size kitchen. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and is fully equipped with dishes, flatware, pots, pans and cookware. There's a microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer.

Enjoy the fresh Tahoe air from the wraparound deck surrounded by evergreens and forest plants. Converse with family and friends over a drink on the patio set and chairs, or there's even a hammock to relax in and read a book. 

The home's only bath has been nicely updated with a slate tile walk in shower. The one bedroom on this level has two bunks: each with a queen on the bottom, and twin on top.  Two more bedrooms are located upstairs with classic dormer ceilings. One upstairs room has one queen bed, and the other has two twin beds. 

This home is located in the Timberland neighborhood, very close to Sunnyside, about 3 miles south of Tahoe City.  Hurricane Bay beach is a 2 block walk away.  Just around the corner is Ward Creek State Park with boardwalk walking trails, informational signs and trails that go for miles and miles. Great spot in the winter to show shoe as well. The maximum occupancy of this home includes a limit of 8 adults ages 16 and older, per Placer County regulations.

There will be a $200 pet fee plus tax for 1 dog upon approval. 

PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation.

Holiday Booking Policy
CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th
NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. There is a 7 night minimum stay required.  **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 31st or January 1st
