Lake Life Description


This cabin is pure vintage Tahoe charm in an optimal west lake location.  Built in 1924, the home has been updated and improved over the years but still retains the original life and beauty you would expect from a home built in this era.  You will find the property on the lake side of West Lake Blvd, Homewood in the Tahoe Pines neighborhood and walking distance to the Tahoe Pines HOA private beach and pier.
At the Home: You are welcomed home after a day at the beach or a day playing in the Tahoe snow by an enormous mud room that includes the heated laundry room.  As you enter the great room you will immediately notice a large open yet cozy space including a large dining table, big cozy living room furniture in front of a brand new wood burning fireplace and large flat screen TV, and nice bright windows to let in the natural light.  On this main level is the guest bath & large kitchen.  The kitchen has great space and is well equipped with some new appliances, a Nespresso coffee maker, pot & pans, and all of the necessary tools and gadgets to prepare any meal.  Weather permitting you have a brand new Traeger grill on the back deck for those summer BBQ’s.
In the Neighborhood: You will enjoy access to the Tahoe Pines HOA amenities which include private beach & pier that are within walking distance from this property.  Surrounding the property are also endless hiking/biking trails and paths in & out of the nearby state parks.  Tahoe City is just a short 8-10 minute drive giving you quick access to shopping, dining, and nightlife.  Homewood Mountain Resort is the closest ski area with Palisades Tahoe and Alpine a scenic 30 minutes away. 

PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. 

Holiday Booking Policy
CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th
NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. There is a 7 night minimum stay required. **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 31st or January 1st
