Lake View Lodge is a stunning modern mountain retreat offering lake views and an abundance of natural light. The home features a spacious, half-wrapped deck where you can soak in the sunshine while enjoying the serene surroundings. Inside, the open-concept design is bright and airy, with pristine wood floors, crisp white walls, and large windows that invite the outdoors in, creating a perfect blend of elegance and comfort.
The expansive great room spans the entire upper level, providing a panoramic view of the towering trees and shimmering lake, giving the space an elevated, treehouse-like atmosphere. Centered around a cozy wood stove, this inviting area offers ample seating for relaxation, whether you're unwinding with a movie or gazing out at the stunning lake and mountain vistas.
Upon entering the upper level, you'll find a spacious living and dining area that flows effortlessly into the well-appointed kitchen, giving the home a grand, open feel. Sliding glass doors from the living room open directly to the deck, allowing you to enjoy the lake view from the comfort of the couch. The upper level also includes two beautifully appointed bathrooms. The primary master bedroom boasts a luxurious king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom features a queen-size bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed. A second bathroom is conveniently located next to this bedroom.
The lower level offers direct access to a two-car garage and a laundry area. The third bedroom on this level includes a king-size bed, two twin beds, and a third bathroom, providing ample space for family or guests.
Important Note: The home is accessed via a steep and short driveway. Low-clearance vehicles may struggle with the incline, and winter conditions can make the driveway slick and icy. Please plan accordingly, as street parking is not permitted.
Conveniently located just minutes from Tahoe City, Lake View Lodge offers easy access to nearby beaches, bike trails, hiking, and a wealth of outdoor activities. The picturesque Skylandia Beach is only a 10-minute walk away.
For your convenience, the home is stocked with a variety of small appliances, including a 14-cup drip coffee maker, quesadilla maker, S'mores maker, citrus juicer, rice cooker, blender, mixer, and roasting pan, ensuring that you're fully equipped to enjoy your time away.
There will be a $100 pet fee plus tax for 1 dog upon approval.
CAMERA DISCLOSURE: There are 3 outdoor cameras at this home: One by the garage doors, one by the front patio upstairs, and one by the side patio upstairs. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively.
Please Note:
1) Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy.
2) This home is not equipped with AC.
3) Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am.
4) Street parking is NOT permitted at any time, including boats and trailers.
5) We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation.
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is managed by Wells and Bennett. W&B will be charging separately a $500 down payment at time of booking to hold your reservation that will go towards your final balance. W&B will also add a $45 Accidental Damage Insurance Policy to the reservation. If you would prefer to have a refundable security deposit in the amount that the policy would cover, please let us know that you opt for that option instead of the policy. We automatically add Vacation Rental Accidental Damage Insurance to your reservation. This costs $45 total. If you want to satisfy our Accidental Damage Insurance requirement another way, you can reach out to us and opt in for a refundable security deposit of $3,000 on the card we have on file for the reservation.
Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.
Holiday Booking Policy
CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th
NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. There is a 7 night minimum stay required. **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 31st or January 1st
