Welcome to Marla Cabin! This entire house was recently remodeled, with a new deck, hot tub, new bathrooms, granite counters and appliances in the kitchen, new carpet, TV's and furnishings. The fresh, clean, and bright décor reflect the owners’ great taste and talent as professional decorators. The open plan great room features cathedral ceilings, big west facing windows to keep the home full of light, comfy furnishings in front of a gas stove and a new flat screen TV. Please note the TV is a Smart TV and there is no cable. There is a WiiU connected for a wider selection of gaming and streaming! The well appointed kitchen has granite counters, stainless appliances and plenty of counter space to create a feast for family and friends. The dining table seats 8. The great room opens onto a brand new spacious deck, with hot tub, to enjoy the Tahoe outdoors. The hot tub is a wonderful addition to make use of after a long day of Tahoe activities! One dog ok upon approval!
There are an updated full bath and two bedrooms downstairs. The first bedroom is a bunk room with a twin bunk set and a twin bed and sleeps three people. The other downstairs bedroom has a king bed. Upstairs is a loft that sleeps up to three people on a twin with trundle and full sofa bed. There is also a TV in the loft for the kids to enjoy. The spacious upstairs master bedroom has a king bed, another new TV, and an updated full bathroom.
The home's location is great for enjoying all the west shore adventures like exploring Sugar Pine Point Park, back country access to McKinney Rubicon, walk to Lake Tahoe at Chambers public beach, and you are five minutes from Homewood Ski Area (free ski shuttle available). The home is on a quiet cul-de-sac and is perfect for families.
The maximum occupancy of this home includes a limit of 8 adults ages 16 and older, per Placer County regulations.
There will be a $100 pet fee plus tax for 1 dog upon approval.
PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation.
Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.
