Welcome to Huckleberry Haus in Carnelian Bay, Tahoe. This home is situated on a large quiet lot with lots of privacy nestled amongst tall pine trees. The property has an extra large lot that gives you a true sense of privacy. The property is fenced and is designed with your pet dog in mind. One small dog is welcome, but must be crate trained and under 35 lbs. and not ever left alone. The home has beautiful lake views and has a spa, a horse shoe pit, and a large level backyard to enjoy with your family and friends. The property also has a rock patio among the pine filled yard.
Our home is a modern old Tahoe home with a true Tahoe feel. Many of the details in this home have been hand carved with peeled pine trim throughout. The home was professionally decorated and is outfitted with comfort in mind. There are many decks with lake views. The main deck has a barbecue. The home has flat screen TV’s in each room as well as an Xbox and wireless internet access.
This home is light filled with French doors opening onto the back deck off of the kitchen and entry. The great room has a huge stone gas fireplace, lake view, hardwood floors and is beautifully decorated. The open plan is perfect for indoor and outdoor dining, with a large lake view deck with gas BBQ. On this main living level there is also a bedroom with queen bath and full guest bath. Upstairs is a loft with two twins, a full bath with vessel sink, lovely tiled bath and a second large bedroom with soaring ceilings, a queen bed and a private balcony overlooking the lovely backyard and fire pit.
Home is 3 bedrooms, AND in addition- over the garage is a charming guest suite, complete with a seating area, coffee pot, queen bath and it's own private lake view deck (great place for your morning coffee!)The attached bath is huge, and features a soaking tub, separate shower and an artful hand done branch. This room feature 2 twin beds and 1 full size bed. We have a garage to store bikes and skis as well as a ping pong table. Hiking trails and mountain bike trails are spread throughout Carnelian Bay. A trail head is a few blocks from our property. This is a fantastic neighborhood to enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer.
Also note the small loft in the guest house is not allowed to be used by guests, nor can the locked up ladder in the garage to access the loft.
*Please note- outdoor gas firepit is not available to renters if we are under a red flag warning meaning fire danger is very high.
There will be a $100 pet fee plus tax for 1 dog upon approval.
PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers.
