This charming Chamberlands chalet style home has a fairy tale setting with a lovely grassy front yard, and wrap around deck with a hot tub in the summer (The hot tub is not usable or available in the winter months). From the moment you walk up to the home's stepping stone walk way, you know you have found a magical place. The tall chalet windows bring the forest in, soaring beamed ceilings elevate the atmosphere, and the wood burning fireplace surrounded by floor-to-ceiling stone all beckon you to relax on the big cozy sectional and kick back with some family and friends, perhaps a glass of wine or a book. This open plan great room is a wonderful gathering place, with a dining room table that seats 6-8 and four more bar stools at the breakfast bar. The well stocked kitchen has a gas range and all the basics you'll need to prepare and serve any size meals. This home sleeps up to 10 people in three bedrooms. There are two nicely furnished bedrooms downstairs both with queen beds and a shared full bathroom with tub shower combo in the hall. Upstairs is a large bunk room with two bunk sets, both have a twin bed on top and a queen bed below and can sleep up to 6 people. The kids are going to love this room! There a second full bathroom with a shower upstairs. Add it all up, and you have found a lovely home for your Tahoe Adventure! Location provides the ideal base for outdoor fun. This home has full access to the Chamberlands private swimming pool, private beach, and tennis courts in the summer. In the winter, Homewood Ski Area is just a few minutes drive away.
PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation.
Wells & Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in.
Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.
