BKL Description

This West Shore two story home is located in McKinney Estates in Homewood in a quiet wooded area. It is comfortable for large groups with its 5 bedrooms and 3 baths and sleeps up to 12 . Some recent updates include: new paint, blinds, carpet, new beds, headboards and bedding. Each bedroom now features a new flat screen TV.

On the entry level, you walk into the living room-to-kitchen open plan space. The living room has three comfy sofas and a reclining chair, stone fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD and wireless speaker. The fully equipped kitchen has granite counters, bar stools, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, and gas range. The dining room is separate and has a table with room to seat up to 12. A patio door off the dining room opens to a large deck in the back yard with outdoor tables, chairs, and gas BBQ for fresh-air entertaining. Extra folding chairs are located in the garage. On the main floor are the following bedrooms: one bedroom with a king bed, and one bedroom with a queen bed and  patio door access to a second large deck with additional table and chairs. A remodeled hall bathroom with shower over tub completes this floor.

Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The largest bedroom has a king bed, a full sofa bed, and small private balcony. The second bedroom has 3 twin beds with private balcony, and the third upstairs bedroom has 4 twin beds with private balcony. Both upstairs bathrooms have been updated. One with shower over tub, the other with a glass enclosed shower stall. Other features include a large front deck with double chair swing, Wi-Fi internet access, TVs in all bedrooms and living room, and washer and dryer.

This welcoming family home is located within walking distance of the Rubicon Trail, Chambers public beach, and multi-use walking and biking trails. A 5 to 20 minute drive will get you to: Homewood Mountain Ski Resort, Meeks Bay, Emerald Bay, Tahoe City, Truckee River, Palisades Tahoe / Alpine Meadows, and the adventure and leisure you traveled to Tahoe to experience!

There is parking available for 4 cars, 3 in the winter MAX.
Please be advised the decks and BBQ grill are NOT available during winter months.
Pets are not allowed at this home.

PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. 

Holiday Booking Policy
CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th
NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. There is a 7 night minimum stay required.  **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 31st or January 1st
