Chambers Lakeview Description
This spacious home is the ideal lodge for large multi generation groups with 4 bedrooms that sleep up to ten and 2.5 baths. Enter into the heart of this home: the sizable open plan great room, with soaring ceilings, a wall of windows to take in the stunning lake views, a big stone fireplace and plenty of room for everyone! Accented by colorful flags, this home will remind you of a classic Italian mountain lodge. The flags are from 17 traditional neighborhoods in Siena, Italy. These neighborhoods compete in a world-famous horse race called "Il Palio", run twice a year since medieval times.
Gather around the circular dining table that seats up to 8, plus four can dine at the breakfast bar. Near the fireplace, there's banquette seating, and another table, perfect for card games or doing a puzzle. There is a closet full of games puzzles and books to enjoy. There is also a Blu-ray DVD player with 3D television, complete with 3D glasses. The home currently does not have cable TV, but there is access to Chromecast device which allows access to streaming media. The kitchen flows right into the great room and has a large island that's perfect for prep and serving up a big meal to the whole gang.
There are only three steps into this home. Three of the four bedrooms and two full baths are on this main living level. This is ideal if you are traveling with some older family members. The first bedroom has two twins, the second has a queen bed and third bedroom is the master with a queen bed, big picture window to enjoy the lake view, and an en-suite bath with walk in shower. Upstairs is the perfect bunk room for the kids, with four twin beds, a TV with VCR, and a half bath. Bring all those classic Disney movies!
The garage includes an electric vehicle (EV) charging socket . It is a NEMA 14-50R wall socket from a 50 amp service. Keep your EV 'topped off' for mountain traveling if you bring an adapter for 14-50.
Back on the main living level, just off the great room is a sprawling deck where you can take in truly stunning views of Lake Tahoe, Stanford Rock and Eagle Rock. Relax on the deck with a book, a cup of coffee or glass of wine, and enjoy living surrounded by the beauty of Tahoe! There is patio furniture and a Gas BBQ for outdoor dining. The home has an attached garage with one bay available for our guests and parking for 4 cars in the driveway during summer months. In winter, parking is limited to 3 cars The location is on the upper part of Chamberlands, and has access to the private Chamberlands Members Beach with a free shuttle in the summer (but not pool or tennis). Homewood Ski Area is 5 minutes away. Add it all up and you have found the perfect year round home for your large group!
Please note: the slats on the deck are spaced apart, and families with small children/ toddlers, may want to consider this, prior to booking.
This Chamberlands home rents with a Sunday to Sunday arrival-departure only from July to August 25. Only Sunday to Sunday stays will be accepted during this time frame.
Please be advised the decks and BBQ grill are NOT available during the winter months.

PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. Wells & Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in.
Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.
