Relax in style in this light and bright remodeled beauty. Your family and friends will appreciate the quiet neighborhood, updated interior, large sunny deck, gorgeous kitchen and comfortable modern finishes. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, uplifting ceilings, and a bonus downstairs sitting area with TV.

Step into the wide-open great room from the upper-level porch and be welcomed by a large comfortable sectional sofa and the gas-fireplace and TV of the living room. The uplifting, painted-white, open-beam ceilings throughout the upper level complement the light that streams in through the 3 sliding glass doors that lead to the large and sunny deck. The nearby dining area has a table that seats up to 10. There are 3 additional stools at the counter/breakfast bar where guests can chat with those preparing meals in the gorgeous, updated and well-appointed kitchen where you'll find plenty of work-space and a professional-style gas range. 2 more stools are at the laptop and charging-station ready built-in desk area.

Head downstairs to two additional levels where the tranquil bedrooms and updated bathrooms are located. There is a California King bed in each bedroom. The mid-level has 2 fresh and comfortable bedrooms and a shared bathroom with double vanity. Down a few more stairs, on the lowest level of the house, you'll land in the second sitting area with 2 comfy chairs and another TV. There is a full bath with shower off the seating area. There are 2 more smartly decorated bedrooms on this lowest level, each with a California King bed and plenty of windows to let the natural light stream in. One of the bedrooms has an upholstered settee that converts into another twin bed. The Master bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom.

This home is located in The Highlands neighborhood, about 4 minutes from downtown Tahoe City. Enjoy the proximity to skiing, dining, beaches, hiking, lake recreation. The paved multi-use bike path is just down the street, and takes you to Tahoe City, Palisades Tahoe and Tahoma in the summer! Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area's network of groomed trails is at the top of this neighborhood, affording easy winter fun, and almost endless hiking in the summer. Two to three cars can park in the driveway in winter and more in summer in the parking pad at street level. (No garage access to guests.)

** The home has 2 thermostats but the one upstairs does not adjust the heat at this time. To make sure you are as comfortable as possible you may have to adjust the vents for the HVAC system on the second level.**


PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation.

Holiday Booking Policy
CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th
NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. There is a 7 night minimum stay required. **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 31st or January 1st
